Sarah Bowers is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in regulatory change management and compliance operations. Currently serving as the AVP/Senior Compliance Program Officer-Regulatory Change Manager at HTLF since March 2023, Sarah has previously held various leadership roles at USAA, including Lead Business Risk and Controls Advisor and Senior Supervision and Controls Advisor. Additional experience includes positions at CommunityAmerica Credit Union as a Senior Compliance Analyst-Team Lead, Commerce Bank as a Compliance Advisor II, UMB Bank in multiple compliance-focused roles, and Sunflower Bank as a Senior Compliance Administrator. Sarah began their career at James B. Nutter & Company, where Sarah served as Vice President-Compliance Operations and Quality Control for over 18 years. Sarah holds multiple professional certifications, including CRCM, CAMS, CMB, and CMS, and is an alumnus of the University of Missouri-Columbia.
