Daniel McKegney, CFA has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Daniel started their career as a Summer Intern at HM Treasury in 2013. After that, they worked as a Customer Team Member at The Co-operative Group from 2012 to 2014. Simultaneously, they served as a Non-commissioned Officer at Army Cadets UK. In 2015, they joined The University of Manchester as a Research Analyst until 2017. Following that, they worked as a Lead Bartender at Verve People from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they became an Economist at CBRE until 2019. Currently, they are with Heitman, where they started as an Associate in 2019 and progressed to the role of Senior Associate in 2021. Daniel is currently serving as an Assistant Vice President from February 2022.

Daniel McKegney, CFA, has a Bachelor of Economic Science degree from The University of Manchester, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Prudhoe Community High School from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained their GCSE and A-Level qualifications with a focus on Economics, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and History. From 2008 to 2012, Daniel McKegney was involved in the Army Cadet Force, where they gained expertise in military disciplines. In terms of additional certifications, they hold the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, having passed all three levels of the exam on the first attempt from the CFA Institute in February 2022. Daniel has also received the Cadet 100 Award from the Council for Cadet Rifle Shooting in June 2011 and the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award from The Duke of Edinburgh's Award in August 2010.
