Lead Mechanical Design Engineer at HELLA

Cesar Ascencion has a strong background in mechanical design engineering, with experience in leading design projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Cesar began their career as a Design Engineer at Continental in 2010, where they successfully implemented cost-saving measures and received awards for their contributions to instrument cluster projects. Cesar then joined HELLA in 2016 as a Design Engineer, where they focused on creating innovative lighting solutions for Toyota Avalon. Ascencion later worked at Marquardt Switches, Inc. North America as a Mechanical Design Engineer, leading various projects and ensuring successful product launches. In 2018, they returned to Continental as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, taking on additional responsibilities such as leading the design of a 3 module concept for door handle sensors and negotiating cost-saving changes with suppliers. Most recently, Ascencion worked at Plexus Corp. as a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer, before joining TRAM, Inc. in 2022 as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Cesar is currently employed at HELLA as a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, where they continue to demonstrate their expertise in leading mechanical design projects.

Cesar Ascencion obtained their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design with a specialization in Bienes de capital from the Universidad de Guadalajara. Cesar attended the university from 1998 to 2003.
