Amit Gupta

Amit Gupta is the Co-Founder and CTO of HelloBetter. Prior to HelloBetter, Amit was the Director of Engineering at Curo Healthcare from November 2015 to May 2019.

Amit was the initial employee at Curo Healthcare and developed the product from scratch. Amit built a team of 15 engineers with competencies in Ruby on Rails, Node.js, iOS, Android and QAs. Amit was responsible for providing the technical feasibility and hence defining the roadmap with the product and business people. Amit successfully implemented the program in 150+ clinics across India.

Amit led the sales meeting with the corporate clients from the Engineering side. Amit implemented analytics dashboards using Google Analytics, Segment and Amplitude and transactional databases to drive key insights and growth. Amit moved the monolithic app to micro-services to achieve high scalability and reduce maintenance cost. Amit implemented service-service interaction using g-RPC. Amit dockerized the modules using AWS Container Service to store server images and used Rancher as Orchestration tool.

Amit worked closely with the product team and designed the database according to product and business needs. Amit implemented Micro-Frontend architecture to build reusable packages across different platforms. Amit also did POCs around progressive web apps, react-native, firebase data storage and functions.

Amit Gupta received a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Maharshi Dayanand University. Amit also completed 12th grade in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and Delhi Public School - Faridabad.

Amit Gupta reports to Hannes Klöpper, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Pierre Cantegril - Co-Founder & CPO, Philip Ihde - Co-Founder & COO, and Elena Heber - Founder & VP, Content & Research.
