Janelle Whisler

Janelle Whisler has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Janelle currently works at Henderson Engineers, where they started in 2019 as a Talent Development Specialist before being promoted to the role of Talent Development Manager in March 2022. At Henderson Engineers, they are responsible for managing talent development programs and initiatives.

Prior to their current role, Janelle worked as the Director of Programs at Pipeline Entrepreneurial Fellowship from May 2018 to February 2019. In this role, they focused on developing and organizing professional development presentations and workshops for the organization's diverse membership. Janelle also managed daily business operations and collaborated to ensure grant compliance.

Before joining Pipeline Entrepreneurial Fellowship, Janelle served as the Assistant Director in the Engineering Career Center at the University of Kansas - School of Engineering. This role, which they held from July 2015 to April 2018, involved providing career advice and building relationships with employers.

Janelle's work experience also includes a role in Transition Services at USD 497 Lawrence Public Schools, where they worked from January 2008 to June 2015.

Janelle Whisler obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Baker University, where they attended from 2001 to 2005. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Emporia State University, completing their studies from 2006 to 2008.
