Melanie Porter has held a variety of roles in the customer experience field since 2008. Melanie began their career at QuickBase (formerly part of Intuit) as the Customer Care and Onboarding Leader, where they built a team of Customer Care & Implementation Specialists and a third team of Sales professionals. In 2017, they moved to Sympo, Inc. as the Director of Service Delivery. In 2018, they joined Smartsheet as the Sr Manager Solution Services - East/EMEA. In 2021, they became the Sr. Director, Customer Success at Podium. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed as the Head Of Customer Experience at Heymarket.

Melanie Porter attended Regis College from 1992 to 1998, where they studied Business/Corporate Communications.
