Grace Wang

Director, Clinical Research at Hinge Health

Grace Wang is the current Director of Clinical Research at Hinge Health. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Principal Research Associate at IMPAQ International from January 2017 to April 2020. In this role, they served as the Measurement and Evaluation Task Lead on three projects funded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Wang's work with CMS included advising leaders about the health care quality and measurement strategy for the $900M Quality Improvement Network-Quality Improvement Organizations (QIN-QIO) program, researching innovative health quality practices and programs, and convening an Executive Leadership Council to solicit input from health care leaders. Grace also oversaw collection and analysis of yearly survey and interview data among health care providers.

In addition to their work with CMS, Wang also contributed to a successful proposal worth over $1.5M in funding from CMS and developed proposals for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Throughout their career, Wang has managed 5 staff members and supported their project performance and career development by setting yearly goals, reviewing project progress every two weeks, and reviewing performance annually.

Grace Wang has a PhD in public health from the University of Washington, an MPH in health promotion from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and a BA in molecular biology and art history from the University of Pennsylvania.
