Oumar Traore

Oumar Traore has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Oumar started their career in 2011, working as an HR Specialist at HireVue until 2015. In this role, they were responsible for various people management practices such as onboarding, performance management, training, and workforce planning.

After that, Oumar took on the role of Manager, Global People at HireVue from 2015 to 2019. In this position, they further developed their skills in new-hire engagement and brand ambassadorship, attracting and retaining talent through the use of technology and social networking tools.

From 2019 to 2022, Oumar advanced to the position of Sr. Manager, Global People and Development at HireVue. Oumar continued to contribute to the company's strategic people management practices and played a crucial role in talent development.

Currently, Oumar holds the position of Director, Talent and Learning & Development at HireVue, starting in August 2022.

Oumar Traore has a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Instructional Design and Educational Technology (IDET) from the University of Utah, which they completed from 2013 to 2016. Oumar also holds an MPA degree in NGOs Management and Finance from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. Oumar earned a BA degree in English & American Literature and Civilizations from Université de Mostaganem in 2004, and another BA degree in English & American Literature and Civilizations from the African University of Ahmed Draia-Adrar in 2002 to 2004. Additionally, Oumar has obtained various certifications from LinkedIn in building resilience, talent management, organizational learning and development, creating personal connections, leading virtually, being positive at work, humble leadership, rolling out a DIBs training program, embracing unexpected change, developing executive presence, strategic human resources, employee experience, and human resources running company onboarding.
