Zainab M.

Zainab M. has extensive experience in environmental policy and leadership, currently serving as an Environmental & Equity Advisor and Environmental Justice/IRA Implementation Associate with the DOE Loan Programs Office. Previously, Zainab coordinated programs for HOBY Maryland, overseeing volunteer recruitment and education in leadership and sustainability. Zainab's work with the Center for American Progress involved leading coalitions focused on indigenous ocean advocacy and collaborating on offshore wind policy. Additionally, Zainab has contributed to clean energy initiatives through the Clean Energy Business Network and has interned with various organizations, including the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy & Natural Resources and the EPA. Zainab holds a Bachelor's Degree with a double major in International/Global Studies and Environmental Studies from American University.
