Sebastian Yap

Sebastian Yap has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 with Dutchband as a Graduation Intern and later as a Product Developer. In 2013, Sebastian became a Freelancer, taking on various projects. That same year, they also founded "we are dimension," a label for creative projects. In 2013, Sebastian co-founded ChocJET, where they worked as an Engineer, focusing on product development, web development, and business development until 2016. From 2015 to 2019, they served as the Technology Lead and Co-owner of Watt-Now. Since 2018, Sebastian has been working at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences as the Technology Lead Robot Lab and Senior Researcher in Digital Production.

Sebastian Yap obtained a Master of Science degree in Emerging Technology Design from the University of Twente, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Advanced Technology, also from the University of Twente, which they completed from 2006 to 2010. In 2009, Sebastian briefly studied at Technische Universität Berlin, although no specific degree or field of study information is provided for that period.
