Director, Sales Operations at Hookit

Catherine Smith is the Director of Sales Operations at Hookit. Catherine has been with the company since November 2019 and in their current role, they are responsible for all aspects of Salesforce management including building and monitoring reports and dashboards as well as finalizing Closed Won opportunity data pushed to NetSuite and accounting at month-end. Additionally, they manage all sales tech stack systems including DocuSign, HubSpot, InsightSquared, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Mixmax, Salesforce, Winmo, Zoom Video Conferencing, ZoomInfo, Drift, etc.

Under Catherine’s direction, the sales team has seen a marked increase in productivity and efficiency. Catherine has successfully implemented Zoom Video Conferencing, HubSpot, Mixmax, and Drift within Salesforce and across the organization which has resulted in increased communication and collaboration among team members. In addition, they introduced and implemented the concept of Commit & At-Risk opportunities within Salesforce to help with pipeline forecasting. This innovative way of tracking opportunities has provided invaluable insights into new business, upsells, reductions, churn, and overall forecasted revenue.

Catherine Smith has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from San Diego State University, a Project Management certificate from UC San Diego Extended Studies, and an Italian Language and Literature certificate from Scuola Leonardo da Vinci Firenze. Catherine also has certifications from the Scrum Alliance in Certified ScrumMaster and from Google in DoubleClick Campaign Manager Fundamentals.
