Theodore William Salim

Theodore William Salim has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Theodore William most recently worked as a Senior Product Manager at Horangi Cyber Security starting in February 2022. Prior to that, they were a Product Manager at Chinsay from May 2020 to January 2022.

Before their roles in product management, Theodore worked at NCS Group as a Product Manager for their Smart and Safe City products from July 2017 to May 2020. In this role, they managed cross-functional collaboration with teams across regions and was responsible for product vision, roadmap, and identifying business requirements. Theodore William also expanded NCS's smart city platform ecosystem through API integration and drove go-to-market strategies.

Prior to NCS Group, Theodore worked at Singtel as a Product Manager for their Data Centre portfolio from July 2016 to June 2017. Theodore William managed three out of nine Singtel Data Centres, oversaw global partnerships, and led a Dark Fibre connectivity project in Hong Kong.

Theodore William began their career as a Research Assistant at the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore in August 2014, followed by a role as an Alumnus at NUS Overseas Colleges in 2013.

In addition, Theodore had sales and marketing experience as a Sales and Marketing Assistant at Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group (BSH) in 2013.

Theodore William also has experience in education as a Relief Teacher at Temasek Junior College in 2011, where they designed learning materials and facilitated a science competition.

Overall, Theodore has a strong background in product management, with experience in cybersecurity, smart city products, data centres, and sales and marketing. Theodore William has demonstrated skills in cross-functional collaboration, product strategy, go-to-market strategies, and stakeholder management.

Theodore William Salim completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Singapore from 2011 to 2015. In 2014, they also had a brief period of study at CentraleSupélec, focusing on Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Theodore William participated in the NUS Overseas Colleges program during the summer of 2013 in Bangalore, India. Before attending university, they completed their high school education at Temasek Junior College from 2009 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Theodore has obtained several certifications. Theodore William became a Professional Scrum Master through Scrum.org in September 2019. In July 2019, they completed the Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure course offered by Coursera. Theodore William is also a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), certified by the Scrum Alliance in June 2020. Furthermore, they achieved the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification, also from the Scrum Alliance, in April 2020. Finally, Theodore became a Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist through Scaled Agile, Inc. in June 2020.
