Jared Mallinson

Jared joined the firm’s counter fraud department in 2003. He was made a Partner in 2012. He divides his time between managing the department and client account management. In 2015, his collaboration with Aviva to tackle Low Severity Impact claims became the most acclaimed in the market, securing five industry awards. He also specializes in late notified claims, general motor fraud, fraud rings and credit hire fraud. He is actively engaged in the firm’s apprenticeship program. Jared’s team has achieved market-leading results in findings of fundamental dishonesty. These include Aviva v Burnett (2015), concerning a semi-professional footballer’s dishonest whiplash claim and Rouse v Aviva, which was one of the first findings of fundamental dishonesty in a case which did not reach trial.
