Andrea Castells

Andrea Castells is a clinical nutritionist currently working at the Instituto Hospital del Mar de Investigaciones Médicas (IMIM) since February 2023, and serves as the Technical Pharmaceutical Director at CONCORD SPAIN SA since October 2021. Previously, Andrea held the position of substitute pharmacist at Farmacia Maragall from April 2017 to February 2023 and contributed to a master's thesis project focused on assessing the antibacterial activity of polyether ionophores at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski between September 2019 and December 2021. In addition, Andrea was a research assistant intern in the pharmacology department at Institut Teknologi Bandung, where the effectiveness of herbal extracts was evaluated from June 2019 to December 2021. Earlier experience includes roles as a pharmacy assistant and participation in international educational projects that emphasized health awareness. Andrea holds a degree in Clinical Nutrition from Universitat de Barcelona (2019-2023) and a degree in Pharmacy from the same institution (2015-2020).
