Monica Flores has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Monica began their career in 2001 as the Director of the Teen Program at the San Gabriel Valley YMCA, where they were responsible for program growth, evaluation, and budgeting. In 2004, they joined Hot Topic as an Internet Fraud Analyst, overseeing fraud prevention and manually reviewing flagged orders. Monica later became a Customer Service Lead, monitoring call and email queues and ensuring SLA goals were met. From 2016 to 2018, Monica served as a Call Center Supervisor, training and developing a team of call center professionals and managing customer-facing responses. Most recently, they held the position of Call Center Operations Manager, leading call center operations, managing third-party vendors, and improving customer care quality.
