Raul Rey Trujillo

Raul Rey Trujillo began their career in 2011 as an Intern at the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television, where they contributed to the design and assembly of Structured Cabling and participated in a project to connect all the radio stations in the country to an internal website. In 2015, they worked as a Cloud Engineer for several companies, where they managed projects using Jira Software and Asana, and installed and configured Amazon EC2 and Amazon RDS instances. From 2017 to 2022, Raul served as the Chief Technology Officer at HotelsByDay, where they worked as a Project Manager and SysAdmin remote consultant, assigning and coordinating tasks with the development team. In 2022, they joined Wiz as a Solutions Support Engineer.

Raul Rey Trujillo obtained a Bachiller Técnico in Informática from Instituto Politécnico de Informática "Raúl Cepero Bonilla" from 2005 to 2008. Raul then went on to receive a degree in Ingeniería from Instituto Superior Politécnico "José Antonio Echevarría" from 2009 to 2014. In 2016 and 2017, they completed several courses from Udacity in Android application programming, such as Android Basics: Multi Screen Apps, Android Basics: Data Storage, Android Basics: User Input, Android Basics: Networking, and Android Development for Beginners. In 2017, they also completed a course from Udacity in How to Use Git and Github and a course from Udemy Alumni in Amazon Web Services Essentials. In December 2021, they obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
