Saurav Aryal

Saurav Aryal, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Scientist at Howard University since August 2018, focusing on projects in natural language processing and computer vision at the Affective Biometrics Lab, funded by the NSA, NSF, and NGA. Previously, Saurav served as a lecturer and graduate student, earning a PhD in Computer Science, and holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science from Howard University. Saurav gained practical experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Google, contributing to projects such as performance testing for large-scale user datastore servers, plagiarism detection for Google CodeJam, and optimizing Google Ads revenue conversion. Educationally, Saurav completed earlier studies in natural sciences at Trinity International College and Galaxy Public School.
