Matt Silva serves as the Interim Global Head of Privacy at Hoya and Principal at Garvin Advisory LLC since May 2024. Previously, Matt held various leadership roles at GE HealthCare from November 2012 to April 2023, including SVP & Chief Information Security Officer, General Counsel for GE HealthCare Digital, and Chief Privacy Officer, where responsibilities encompassed global privacy compliance and the establishment of the company’s first global privacy program. Matt’s extensive experience in privacy law also includes roles at Pfizer as Chief Privacy Officer and European Privacy Officer, as well as legal positions at Vodafone and Baker McKenzie. Matt's educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws from Rhodes University and professional training in business management and leadership development.
