Hongwu Huai

Hongwu (Ryan) Huai is a Senior Engine Programmer at HoYoverse since January 2022, specializing in the console engine team. Previously, Huai has served as a Game Programmer at Naughty Dog, contributing to The Last of Us Part II for PlayStation 4, and as a Core Engineer at Sledgehammer Games, working on Call of Duty: WWII across multiple platforms. Additional experience includes a role as a Software Engineer III at Crystal Dynamics on Rise of the Tomb Raider, a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft focused on HoloLens, and a Software Engineer at Zynga developing cross-platform titles. Huai holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from South China University of Technology.
