Luis Barco

Luis Barco has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Luis worked as a Staff Engineer II and an Intern in Water Resources at HR Green, Inc. from May 2022 to present. Prior to that, they were an Engineer Intern III at A&S Engineers, Inc. from March 2021 to May 2022. Luis also gained experience as a Project Engineer at Ragle Inc from July 2020 to December 2020. Before that, they worked at Crestwood Midstream Partners LP in various roles, including Project Development Engineer, Engineering Assistant, and Small Capital Projects Intern. Luis began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Houston, where they conducted experiments and modeled rearation rates of dissolved oxygen in water, and also worked as an Event Management and Game Operations Assistant.

Luis Barco has a strong educational background in engineering. Luis obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Continuing their academic pursuits, Luis pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Houston from 2021 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma White Belt certification from the US Navy Recruiter in October 2017.
