Satpal Sokhi Mied Fimeche Ceng

Satpal Sokhi has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Satpal is currently the Chief Engineer at HVS (Hydrogen Vehicle Systems), starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Engineering at MECALAC CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT UK LIMITED, where they led a team of 35 employees and oversaw product roadmaps and development frameworks. Satpal also spearheaded new product introductions, from conceptualization to production start-up.

Before MECALAC, Satpal worked at Terex UK Ltd, where they held multiple roles including Engineering Manager, Principal Engineer, and Senior Design Engineer. In these positions, they managed teams, ensured regulatory compliance, developed engineering specifications, and successfully delivered various vehicle projects.

Earlier in their career, Satpal worked at AGCO Corporation as a Project Engineer and Senior Design/Development Engineer, and at MASSEY FERGUSON TRACTORS LTD as a Designer and Design Development Draughtsman. Satpal began their career at MASSEY FERGUSON as an Engineering Technician Apprentice.

Satpal Sokhi attended Coventry University where they obtained a BEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1995. In addition to their degree, they have also completed various certifications and training programs. These include a Management Skills for Engineers Conference from IMechE in 1999, a Value Improvement Programme (VAVE) from XR ASSOCIATES in 1998, a Basic Engineering Training from E.I.T.B. in 1988, and a Residential Personal Development Course from MASSEY FERGUSON TRACTORS LTD in 1988. Satpal also obtained an ILM Certificate in First Line Management from MIDLAND GROUP TRAINING SERVICES LIMITED in 2009.
