Shawn Berg

Shawn Berg has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and positions. Shawn began their career at DeCopier Technologies in 2001 as a Product Development Manager. In 2002, they moved on to Merrimac Paper Company where they worked as a Senior Process Engineer/Product Development until 2005. Following this, they joined J&L Fiber Services as a Refiner Applications Manager, a role they held for six years. Since 2011, Shawn has been with Hydro-Thermal Corporation, initially as a Business Development Engineer, then as Manager of Applications and Business Development, and currently as the Director of Business Development.

Shawn Berg obtained a B.S. in Paper Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point from 1989 to 1994. Following that, from 1994 to 2000, Shawn pursued a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Maine. In terms of additional certifications, Shawn has acquired several from LinkedIn, including "Change Management Foundations" in August 2021, "Developing Assertive Leadership" in December 2020, "Having Difficult Conversations: A Guide for Managers" in December 2020, "Working with Creative Millennials" in December 2020, "Preparing for Successful Communication" in July 2020, and "Working Remotely" in March 2020.
