Frank Allen

Chair at Iarnród Éireann

Frank Allen is currently the Chair at Iarnród Éireann. Frank has a long and varied work history, starting with their position as Senior Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation from 1988 to 1996. Frank then worked as Vice President at KBC Bank & Verzekering from 1996 to 2002 before becoming the Chief Executive at Transport Infrastructure Ireland from 2002 to 2012. After a brief stint as Chairman at DePaul (Ireland) from 2012 to 2013, they took on the role of Guest Lecturer at the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School from 2013 to 2016. Their most recent position before their current one was as Trustee at DePaul International from 2016 to 2017.

Frank Allen attended the mit sloan school of management for their undergraduate degree and then went on to study food and nutritional sciences at the school of food and nutritional sciences.
