Simon Heine

Simon Heine has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Simon started their career at Karmann GmbH, where they completed an internship and diploma thesis in 2004. Simon then worked at Continental and Bosch as an Application Engineer for Chassis Systems. In 2012, Heine joined IAV as a Senior Projekt Manager in the Chassis division and later became the Head of Department for Body Control and Steering Systems, Wheels/Tires. Simon was then promoted to Senior Vice President in the Chassis department before assuming the role of Executive Vice President - Global Operations in 2021. Simon has also held leadership positions at IAV Poland and IAV China. In 2020, Heine briefly worked as the Managing Director at TRE GmbH. Simon is currently a Member of the Board of Directors at IAV Automotive Engineering, Inc.

Simon Heine has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a leadership focus from the German Graduate School of Management and Law, which they completed from 2009 to 2012. Simon also holds a Diploma in Engineering (Dipl-Ing) in Vehicle Technology with a focus on chassis, which they obtained from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences from 2000 to 2004.
