Damien Vanhaudenarde

Damien Vanhaudenarde has accumulated extensive experience in the financial sector, with roles at iBanFirst and Byblos Bank Europe. At iBanFirst, they served as the Chief Compliance Officer, overseeing Compliance and Risk Management functions, including AML responsibilities. Damien was part of the Executive Committee and managed various compliance tasks and projects. Prior to this, at Byblos Bank Europe, Damien held roles such as Head of Risk Management, Operational Risk Management Coordinator, Head of Compliance, and Credit Officer, showcasing their expertise in various aspects of risk and compliance management.

Damien Vanhaudenarde completed their high school education at Collège Notre-Dame de Bonne-Espérance in Belgium from 1994 to 2000. Damien then pursued a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Political Science and International Relations at Université catholique de Louvain from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, they completed a Master's degree in Management Science at Louvain School of Management from 2006 to 2008. Damien later obtained a Postgraduate degree in Finance from ICHEC-Entreprises (Brussels Management School) from 2010 to 2014. Damien also participated in multiple exchange programs in Argentina and the USA during their education. Furthermore, Damien obtained various certifications such as the Certified Compliance Officer and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.
