Isabel Cervera has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Isabel started their career as a Wind Farm Project Engineer at SINAE, Energía y Medioambiente in 1999. Isabel then joined Uniión Fenosa in 2000, where they were responsible for managing power line projects in the Southern Galicia Area.

In 2001, Isabel joined Iberdrola, where they held various roles. Isabel started as a Power Trading Manager, specializing in the Spanish and Portuguese electricity markets. Isabel was responsible for trading electricity in organized European markets and conducting market research. Later, they became a Project Development Manager, involved in the development and valuation of new power plant projects across Spain and Europe.

Isabel then worked as an Analyst at the Gas Supply and Portfolio Management department in Iberdrola, focusing on optimization, negotiation, and development of long-term gas contracts. Isabel also conducted gas market analysis and led arbitration procedures.

In 2014, Isabel became a Senior Analyst at Planning and Prospective in Iberdrola, where they contributed to strategic planning and analysis.

Their most recent role at Iberdrola was as the Head of Business Performance for Europe in the Offshore Business division. Additionally, they were responsible for managing investments and divestments in renewable energy projects on a global scale, including PV, onshore, offshore, and hydro projects.

Throughout their career, Isabel has acquired a wealth of experience and expertise in the energy sector, particularly in renewable energy, project development, gas supply, and power trading.

Isabel Cervera completed a Focused Program in Finance & Accounting at IESE Business School in 2011. In 2002-2003, they pursued a degree in Regulation of the Energy Sector at Comillas Pontifical University. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Mining Engineering with a focus on Energy and Fuels from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid between 1992 and 1998.
