Kent R. Ford

Kent R. Ford has a wealth of experience in the field of international development and private sector engagement. Kent R. started their career in 2000 as the Managing Director of Global Development Solutions, LLC, where they co-founded the firm and served as the Team Leader for the Kosovo Business Support Project.

In 2008, Ford joined Chemonics International, Inc. as the Director, a role they held until 2010. Kent R. then moved on to Deloitte Consulting, where they worked as a Senior Advisor in Economic Growth and Private Sector Development from 2010 to 2012.

From 2012 to 2013, Ford worked as an independent consultant before joining Palladium in 2013 as the Director of Economic Growth and Agriculture, a position they held until 2017.

Ford then joined Creative Associates International as the Director of Livelihoods and Economic Recovery in 2017, where they focused on assisting countries in recovering from economic shocks and stabilizing their economies.

In 2018, Ford returned to independent consulting as an International Economic Growth and Private Sector Development Professional. Kent R. continued in this role until 2020 when they joined Integra Government Services International as a Private Sector Engagement Advisor, working under the Learning, Evaluation and Analysis Project III.

Most recently, in 2022, Ford worked as an Independent Consultant, supporting USAID's Private Sector Engagement Support Mechanism as a PSE Advisor, providing technical, management, and operational support to the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance.

Currently, Ford holds the position of Chief of Party at IBI - International Business Initiatives, a role they have held since 2023.

Kent R. Ford has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Finance from Ball State University. Additionally, they hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Business and Finance from the George Mason University - School of Business.
