David Gionet

David Gionet has had a long and varied career in the manufacturing and technology industries. David began their career in 1995 as a Process Control Engineer at Aluminerie Alouette Inc. From 1997 to 2001, they were a Consultant/Project Engineer/Software Applications Manager at Brock Solutions. David then joined MDA in 2001, where they held the role of Senior Software/Project Engineer, Program Manager, Mission Operations Station and Software, Next Generation Canadarm Program, Business Develpment Manager (Offshore Energy), Energy and Mining, and Director, Energy and Mining. In 2018, they took a career break and then in 2019, they were hired as a Project/Product Manager at Boeing Vancouver. In 2020, they became Manager, Energy & Provincial Safety Manager and Director, Project Delivery at Technical Safety BC. In 2021, they joined Ideon Technologies as Director, Manufacturing Operations & Project Delivery.

David Gionet has an extensive education history. David obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from McGill University between 1991 and 1995. David then went on to obtain a DEC in Pure and Applied Science from CEGEP - John Abbott College between 1989 and 1991. In 2005, they completed their Masters in Management Sciences, Management of Technology from the University of Waterloo. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including a Wicked Problem Solving Practitioner from the Project Management Institute in 2021, a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) from Engineers and Geoscientists BC in 2019, a Program Management Principles & Practices from the Ontario Aerospace Council in 2003, a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2009, a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) from Professional Engineers Ontario in 2001, and a Strategic Selling from the Miller Heiman Group.
