Kini Schoop

Kini Schoop is an accomplished corporate communications professional with extensive experience in leading strategic communications initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Director of Corporate Communications at IDG since December 2024, Kini previously held the position of Vice President of Corporate Communications at Backlight, where a successful integration and branding strategy was executed across multiple startups. Prior experience includes directing global corporate communications at Covetrus, managing marketing communications at Blackhawk Network | CashStar, and leading media relations at Change.org, among other roles. With a strong educational background in Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley, and participation in the Sauvé Scholars Program at McGill University, Kini has consistently driven brand enhancement and engagement through innovative communication strategies.
