Rob McGee

Rob McGee has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Rob is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Stable Kernel, where they oversee all aspects of Delivery and Engineering. Rob maintains a hands-on approach to aid in velocity in various projects using different tech stacks. Rob also helps design and develop technical solutions for clients and fosters a positive work environment while providing mentorship and support to the team.

Before joining Stable Kernel, Rob worked at GBG Plc as the Director of Software Engineering and Quality Assurance. Rob held this position from 2016 to 2022. Prior to that, they were the Director of Quality Assurance at LexisNexis Risk Solutions from 2004 to 2016. In this role, they ensured the quality of enterprise product lines and contributed to enhancing testing capabilities.

Rob also has experience working at The Home Depot as a Software Development Manager and at UPS as an Enterprise Architect. Rob developed software for proprietary point-of-sale terminals at UPS and led software development teams at The Home Depot. Before that, they worked at Daugherty System Software and System Solutions and ADP, where they held roles as a Lead Developer and Quality Assurance Tester, respectively.

Furthermore, Rob has experience working in the aviation industry as the Director of Operations at VALUJET AIRLINES, INC. and served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army. Rob McGee completed a Bachelor of Degree in Business Management with a focus on Business and Technology from Georgia State University between 2002 and 2006. Rob then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Troy University specializing in Computer and Information Systems/Security/Information Assurance from 2010 to 2012.
