Timothy Hicks has a diverse work experience, starting in 2000 as a Senior Internal Auditor at Ingram Micro. Timothy held various financial roles at Kellogg Company from 2002 to 2008. In 2008, they worked as a Financial Planning & Analysis Consultant at Case New Holland. From 2010 to 2018, they were the Founder and CEO of Hicks Sports Management. Timothy also served as a Strategy Consultant at Taproot Foundation in 2011. Timothy worked at the City of Chicago as an Assistant City Treasurer and at Hicks & Brown Sports Management. Timothy then became the Comptroller at the Forest Preserve District of Cook County until 2019. Currently, they are the Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director Accounting at the Illinois Housing Development Authority.
Timothy Hicks completed their high school education at John C. Fremont High School from 1989 to 1991. Timothy then obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Alabama State University, graduating in 1995. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Illinois Chicago, completing their studies in 2008. Timothy also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant.
