Brad van Wely obtained their first degree in 1997 from Charles Sturt University, where they earned a degree in Arts with a field of study in Photography. In 1997, they also enrolled in the University of Canberra and completed their Applied Science degree in Sports Media in 2000. Brad continued their education at the University of Technology, Sydney, where they pursued a Masters in Business with a specialization in Sports Management from 2008 to 2014.
