Frano Irvine

Frano Irvine has a diverse work experience. In 2008, they worked as an Office Assistant for Taxrefunds.co.nz. In 2010, they worked as a Store Assistant for Coupland's Bakeries and a Party Guide for Cheers Backpackers. In 2012, they were an Honours Student and Demonstrator at the University of Otago. In 2013, they were a Research Assistant at Teva Pharmaceuticals. In 2017, they traveled through 10 countries in 10 months in the South East Asia region. In 2018, they were a Senior Associate Scientist at Compass Therapeutics LLC, where they generated and screened antibody libraries, performed flow cytometry analysis and cell sorting, conducted molecular biology techniques, and developed standard operating protocols relating to antibody drug discovery and optimization. In 2019, they were a Senior Research Associate at Generate Biomedicines, Inc. In 2020, they were a Senior Scientist, Scientist, and Associate Scientist at Immunitas Therapeutics.

Frano Irvine attended the University of Otago from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry. Prior to that, they attended Waitaki Boys High School from 2004 to 2008, where they achieved N.C.E.A Level 3.
