Emily Gibson

Emily Gibson currently serves as the Policy and Operations Lead for Findings and Reports at the Independent Commission for Reconciliation and Information Recovery (ICRIR) since February 2024. Prior to this position, Emily held the role of Head of Policing Collaboration within the Insight Portfolio at Their Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS) from January 2023 to February 2024. With extensive experience in publishing and training, roles included Publications Manager for the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse at the UK Civil Service, Editor in Chief at Birkbeck Law Review, and Company Director at Corbas Consulting Ltd. Emily's educational background includes a PGDip in Law from Birkbeck, a MA in Legal History from the University of Guelph, and a BA (Hons) in English and History from the University of Saskatchewan, along with various certifications in information systems and publishing.
