Gabriel Feyer

Gabriel Feyer has a diverse work experience in various software development and engineering roles. Gabriel is currently employed at Index Exchange since 2019, where they have held multiple positions including Engineering Manager, Staff Software Engineer, and Software Engineer IV. Prior to that, they worked at Morgan Stanley as a Senior Software Developer - Associate from 2017 to 2019. Gabriel also has experience working at Genesys as a Software Developer from 2015 to 2017.

Their earlier career includes a significant role at CAE from 2011 to 2015 as a Software Developer/Integration Specialist, where they were responsible for software design, development, and integration for Full Flight Simulators. Gabriel also managed software control and configurations, ported code to different platforms, provided troubleshooting and debugging, and enhanced the usability of the main software product. Gabriel traveled globally to various locations for product integration and deployment, advising clients and reducing the need for after-sale technical support.

Gabriel's earlier experience includes working at CMC Electronics as a Software Developer In Test in 2008, and at NDT Technologies Inc. in 2006 and 2007 as a System Software Developer during their internships. During these internships, they designed software for ultrasound and angular measurement digital instruments, performing tasks such as interfacing with drivers, performing computations, conducting testing, and writing documentation.

Gabriel Feyer completed their education, starting with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from McGill University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering (M.Eng.) at McGill University from 2009 to 2011. Prior to their university education, they attended Marianopolis College from 2002 to 2004, where they completed a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Pure and Applied Science.
