Emily Allen Kirby

Emily Allen Kirby has a diverse and extensive work experience. Emily currently holds the position of Vice President, Home-Based Services at Indiana University Health since 2023. In this role, they lead the Home Health, Hospice, and Hospital at Home service lines, overseeing strategy, clinical operations, and quality.

Prior to their role at Indiana University Health, Emily worked at Humana for several years. Emily served as the Associate Vice President, Primary Care Growth and Patient Experience from an unknown start date to 2022. Here, they developed sales, patient experience, and innovation functions for the business unit, which grew to 220+ primary care clinics serving over 240,000 Medicare patients in 10 states.

In addition, Emily also held roles as the Associate Vice President, Retail Centers, where they revamped strategy and led a team of 100+ to align with the Medicare business unit's objectives, and as the Director, Office of the CEO, where they played a key role in establishing Humana's "Bold Goal" initiative. Emily also served as the Director of Medicare Strategy, Planning & Experience, and Director of Corporate Strategy.

Before their time at Humana, Emily worked at American Express as the Vice President, Consumer Travel Strategy from an unknown start date to 2008.
