Turquoise Devereaux is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in social work and community engagement. Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the ASU Office of Community Health, Engagement and Resiliency since August 2022, Turquoise also founded Indigenous Skye, LLC in February 2021, focusing on cultural identity preservation and Indigenous revitalization through decolonizing strategies and youth programming. As an Independent Consultant for the Indigenous Community Collaborative, Turquoise educates systems on creating culturally safe spaces. Previous roles include Project Coordinator at Arizona State University, where Turquoise evaluated a Tribal Opioid Response Grant, and Academic Coordinator for TRIO's Upward Bound Program, supporting first-generation college students. Turquoise holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Arizona State University and two Bachelor's degrees in Social Work from the University of Montana.
