Andres Diaz, Ph.D. is currently the Research Manager of Emerging Technologies at INFICON. Andres also serves as the Co-Investigator for the MSOLO Project at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. With a background in sensor engineering and mass spectrometry, Andres has worked with various companies and organizations, including NTCR Consulting, Creare, Ad Astra Rocket Company, and NASA. Their expertise lies in developing, testing, and characterizing sensors and instruments for harsh environments, particularly for space exploration applications. Andres has a strong academic background with post-doctoral research in harsh environment mass spectrometry and degrees in Physics, Sensor and Instrument Design, and MEMS and Microsensors from the University of Minnesota.
