Customer Interactions Delivery Lead at ING Bank Australia

Adam Walaszek has extensive experience in the banking industry, with a focus on customer interactions and intelligence. Adam started their career at Association XBRL Poland as a Project Manager from 2008 to 2011. Adam then worked at Alior Bank S.A. as both a Strategy and Optimization Specialist and an Expert in the Collections Department from 2011 to 2013. Adam joined ING Bank Śląski in 2014, where they held various roles such as Customer Intelligence Analyst, Senior Customer Intelligence Analyst, and Acting Manager of the Business Intelligence Team until 2018. At ING, they also served as the Product Owner for Digital Traffic Scrum, managing a team responsible for direct marketing communication in digital channels. Since 2018, Adam has been working at ING, initially as the Global Customer Intelligence Expert, developing strategies within the Customer Intelligence area and leading international working groups. Adam then transitioned to the role of Global Product Owner of Customer Communication Orchestration, overseeing technical capabilities development and customer communication strategies. From 2021 to 2022, Adam served as the Global Program Manager for Customer Interactions Strategy Delivery at ING. Adam is currently the Customer Interactions Delivery Lead at ING Australia, starting in November 2022.

Adam Walaszek completed their education at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics in 2013, where they pursued a Post-Graduate Study in Risk Management in Financial Institutions. Prior to that, they attended the University of Warsaw from 2005 to 2010, earning a Master's degree in Econometrics and Computer Science. In addition to their academic education, Adam also holds various certifications, including a SAS Data Mining Certificate obtained in 2010 and several Google Cloud Skills Boost certifications, the most recent being in 2023.
