Tim Hebblethwaite has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Tim started their career as a Project Administrator at General Electric in 1995, followed by a role as a Software Tester at Kse Computers in 1996. Tim then became the IT Manager at Allenbridge Group plc, where they implemented a new data and voice network and oversaw daily support and training for staff.

In 1997, Hebblethwaite joined Hardy Oil and Gas plc as a Helpdesk employee before moving on to British Borneo Oil & Gas as a 1st & 2nd Line Support in 1998. Tim then took on various roles at Karachaganak Petroleum Operating, including IT Manager, Head of IT Support in Kazakhstan, and IT Service Delivery Manager.

In 2010, Hebblethwaite transitioned to Afren as the Group IT Manager, responsible for delivering global IT and telecommunications solutions for the oil company. Tim continued to progress in their career, becoming the IT Director for an undisclosed company in 2015 and then Senior Director IT Cloud and Operations at Inmarsat in 2016.

At Inmarsat, Hebblethwaite took on the role of Head of Network Operations' Service Monitoring, Incident and Change Management Function in 2023. In this position, they are accountable for driving operational effectiveness and strategic direction for Inmarsat's Network Operations Centre and Network Control Centre.
