Chuck Newton

Chuck Newton serves as the Director of Cyber Security at Inspire Brands, leading security engineering, incident response, and threat intelligence functions since June 2018. Previously, Chuck held the role of Lead for Cloud Security and Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance, where responsibilities included overseeing the enterprise security compliance program and directing cybersecurity audits and assessments. Chuck has an extensive military background, including positions such as Deputy Commander and Brigade Support Battalion Commander with the Georgia National Guard. In the corporate sector, Chuck has experience as Manager of Information Security Architecture and Operations at Norfolk Southern Corporation. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Accountancy/Information Systems from Mercer University, a B.B.A. in Computer Information Systems from Longwood University, an MA in Organizational Leadership from Luther Rice College & Seminary, and a Master's in National Resource Security, Global Supply and Logistics from the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy.
