Lauren Babek

Lauren Babek is an accomplished leader in talent acquisition with extensive experience in scaling recruitment strategies for major tech companies. Currently serving as Head of Talent at Instacart since June 2025, Lauren previously held significant roles at DoorDash, where as Sr. Director of Global Technical Recruiting and University Programs, a remarkable 10x employee growth was achieved, expanding the workforce from 2,500 to over 25,000. Prior experience includes Sr. Director of Global Technical Recruiting at Snap Inc., where Lauren implemented a global recruiting strategy during the pre-IPO phase, as well as various leadership positions at LinkedIn, where talent acquisition efforts contributed to a significant increase in personnel as part of Microsoft’s acquisition. Earlier career highlights include recruiting roles at Netflix and Teach For America. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with dual minors in Psychology and Sociology, graduating Cum Laude from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
