Divyanshu Verma

Divyanshu Verma has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Divyanshu started their career as a Winter Intern at MothersonSumi Infotech & Designs Ltd., where they gained knowledge about building Android apps using C++. Divyanshu then worked as a Website Designer at IEEE PES VIT student chapter. Divyanshu joined PayU Payments Private Limited as a Software Development Intern and later transitioned into the role of Software Developer. Divyanshu focused on providing functionality for employees and gained experience in Ruby on Rails, Ember JS, and JavaScript.

After PayU, Divyanshu joined Tapmint as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on cross-platform projects using Vue JS and Meteor JS. Divyanshu implemented Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes to streamline mobile app and web development.

Following Tapmint, Divyanshu became a part of Cvent as a Senior Software Engineer. Divyanshu'snotable achievements include laying the foundation for session enrollment in Cvent's mobile app, implementing push notifications, and building a GraphQL layer for notifications. Divyanshu worked with React Native, Apollo GraphQL, Couchbase Lite, and React.

Currently, Divyanshu Verma is working as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa. In addition, they have accepted an internship at Instawork as a Software Engineer Intern, starting in 2023.

Divyanshu Verma completed their high school education at St. Cecilia's Public School from 1999 to 2011. Divyanshu then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology between 2011 and 2015. Currently, they are enrolled at the University of Ottawa to obtain a Master's degree in Computer Science, which they are expected to complete by 2024.
