Trina Chattoraj Mallik has a diverse work experience in the field of sustainability and climate change. Trina is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Programs at the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC), where they oversee global programs in various countries. Trina was also an Acting Co-President of ISC for a period of time. Prior to their role at ISC, they worked at The Nature Conservancy as the Director of Climate Mitigation and as the Climate Change and Energy Policy Manager, where they actively advocated for and facilitated the implementation of climate change policies. Trina also has experience as a Senior Sustainability Consultant as an independent contractor and at Allianz SE. Trina previously worked at The Climate Group as the Global Director of Member Engagement, where they managed the organization's global member network and initiated partnerships amongst members for low carbon initiatives. Trina's early career involved roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Innovest Strategic Value Advisors, where they evaluated the environmental and social performance of companies. Trina began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Bechtel Power Corporation, where they led engineering teams for emission reduction projects.

Trina Chattoraj Mallik obtained their B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, graduating in 1996. Trina then pursued a Masters of Engineering Management in Engineering and Technology from The George Washington University, completing their degree in 2000. Following this, Trina attended the Stern School of Business at New York University, where they earned an MBA with a focus on Finance and International Business in 2002. In addition to their formal education, Trina has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they completed the Certified Sustainability (CSR) Practitioner Program, Advanced Edition from the CSE - Center for Sustainability and Excellence. In 2019, Trina acquired a certification in Electric Vehicles from the European Energy Centre (EEC). Finally, in 2020, they obtained a Galileo Master Certificate in Renewable Energy Finance & Management from the European Centre of Technology (UNEP) 2020.
