Phil Glassey is an Engineering Geologist with disaster risk management experience. He has been involved in hazard mapping, risk assessments and disaster risk reduction (DRR) projects in New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Indonesia and Vietnam. Phil is currently leading a case study on the potential impact of rising sea level on groundwater flooding in the South Dunedin urban area. He is also researching social and governance implications of renewable energy, including attitudes toward "Critical" minerals, and leads the stakeholder tools and engagement component of the Earthquake-Induce Landscape Dynamics project.
