Aoife Parsons

Aoife Parsons, Ph.D., is a researcher at the Institute of Marine Research (IMR) in Norway since February 2018, specializing in marine research. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at the University of Exeter, where research centered on the molecular mechanisms of thyroid disruption caused by brominated flame retardants during critical early life stages in zebrafish (Danio rerio). Aoife Parsons completed a Ph.D. at the University of Exeter from September 2012 to April 2017 and holds a Master of Science in Conservation and Biodiversity from the University of Exeter (2010-2011) and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from Trinity College Dublin (2005-2009).
