Jeehae Park

Jeehae Park has a diverse work experience spanning multiple scientific roles. Jeehae is currently working at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc. as a Principal Scientist since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Scientist at the same company from April 2021 to July 2022.

Before joining Intellia Therapeutics, Inc., Jeehae worked at Sanofi as a Scientist from June 2019 to April 2021. During their time at Sanofi, they focused on Analytical Development for Cell & Gene Therapy Programs. Jeehae developed new platform methods for analyzing AAV gene therapy products and qualified cGMP analytical methods for AAV gene therapy candidates, monoclonal antibodies, and engineered proteins. Jeehae also played a vital role in developing purity and potency assays for gene and cell therapy programs and served as the analytical team coordinator for an early-stage program.

Prior to their industry experience, Jeehae gained research experience at Harvard Medical School as a Postdoctoral Fellow from June 2013 to June 2019. Jeehae also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Harvard University from November 2011 to May 2013. Jeehae'sacademic journey started at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they served as a Graduate Research Assistant from September 2004 to October 2011.

Jeehae Park earned a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from Yonsei University in the years 2000 to 2004. Jeehae then pursued a Doctorate in Biophysics and Computational Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2004 to 2010. In 2002, they also briefly studied Biology at the University of Minnesota Morris. Additionally, Jeehae Park completed the Teaching Institute: Theory and Practice for the STEM Professions certification program at the Center for Excellence in Teaching, Simmons College in 2015.
