Will-John Keevy

Will-John Keevy has a diverse work experience in the insurance and financial sector. Will-John began their career as a Financial Consultant at Old Mutual Limited in 2001, where they managed investment queries and complaints. In 2003, they worked as a Financial Researcher at Profile Media.

In 2004, Will-John joined Liberty Group South Africa as a Financial Advisor, where they sourced clients, provided financial advice, and mentored new financial advisors. Will-John later became a Sales Manager, responsible for sales management, production reporting, and recruitment and selection.

In 2016, Will-John joined Intelligent Debt Management as the Head of Insurance. Reporting to the CFO, they reviewed and restructured the credit life distribution and sales process, implemented system and process changes, and identified and sourced life and funeral products for the business. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Head of Insurance Product Development, overseeing the insurance business, managing the Centriq Cell captive relationship, and handling insurance risk and finance reporting.

Currently, Will-John is the Director at IDM Motor & Home, a position they assumed in 2022.

Will-John Keevy first attended Stellenbosch University in 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Molecular Genetics after completing a four-year program. In 1999, they returned to Stellenbosch University and pursued a BSc Honors degree in Molecular Genetics. Will-John completed this program within a year. In 2000, they briefly attended the University of Cape Town and undertook a BCom Accounting Conversation Course, focusing on Accounting and Finance.
