Niels Kortstee

Niels Kortstee has extensive experience in product management and software engineering. Niels is currently the Head of Product Management at IGS Limited since September 2021. Before that, they worked at ADLINK Technology as a Product Director from January 2020 to September 2021, and as a Product Manager from October 2017 to January 2020. In these roles, they managed the communication software product-line and collaborated with sales, marketing, and R&D teams across Europe, the US, and APAC. Prior to ADLINK, Niels worked at PrismTech, where they held multiple roles including Software Engineering Manager/Product Owner from August 2010 to October 2017. Here, they were responsible for the development of the Vortex product line and oversaw multiple software engineering teams. Niels also worked as a Solutions Architect, providing architectural advice to various customers in sectors such as smart energy, defense & aerospace, industrial automation, transportation, and IT, from January 2009 to August 2010. Niels started their career at Thales as a Software Engineer from February 2004 to May 2006. Niels is proficient in middleware protocols and API standards for data-centric connectivity.

Niels Kortstee's education history begins in 1992, when they attended Florens Radewijn College / Carmel College Salland. Niels pursued VWO as their field of study and completed it in 1998.

Following that, between 1998 and 2000, Niels attended the University of Twente, although no degree was specified for this period. Niels then went on to attend Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a degree in Computer Science as an Engineer.

Additionally, in June 2018, Niels obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
