Paul Burns

Paul Burns has extensive work experience in various senior leadership roles within a range of industries.

Paul is currently the Chief Operating Officer at International Decorative Surfaces, a position they have held since 2023.

Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Operations Clothing and Home Logistics at Marks and Spencer from March 2017 to January 2023.

From October 2014 to March 2017, Paul was the Divisional Supply Chain Director at Travis Perkins, where they were responsible for establishing a new Divisional Supply Chain.

Paul also worked at Amazon.co.uk as the General Manager - Operations from April 2012 to October 2014, and held previous roles at Tarmac as the Supply Chain Director and Operations Director.

Before that, Paul gained experience at Masterfoods (Mars) as the Site Chief Engineer and Deputy Site Director and at Masterfoods Hungary - Mars as the Site Chief Engineer.

Paul'searlier experience includes roles at British Airways as a Technical Engineer (Team Coach/Leader) and Liaison Engineer.

Paul Burns attended The University of Salford from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Paul successfully completed their studies with a first-class degree classification.
